... airport with Younes as our driver (Younes is amazing, you're lucky if you get him on your trip) where we met Chakib our guide who introduced us to Fez and showed us around the beautiful medina for a few days.
We also did a tasting tour on the second day that involved stopping at many local shops and tasting the amazing cuisines of Fes! Chakib was born and grew up in the Medina and literally everyone knows him there.
Combination of interesting paintings and a beautiful building that is a former italian consulate created lovely contrast to overcrowded streets of Essaouria.
To stumble upon Le Real in the winding lanes of the medina in Essaouira is the best surprise.
